b'GTX VINTAGE-WARRIORMulti-Poly Bushing & Spring Controlled, GTV Decoupled 3-Link with Quik-Tune: Decoupled Means We Can Tune the Rear Grip on Corner Exit & Rear Grip on Corner Entry Separately! The Accel Link Sets Anti-Squat for Acceleration & the Decel Link Sets Pro-Squat for Braking. Decoupled 3-Links are the Highest Grip Rear Suspension Available. Anywhere. Period. But There are Different Methods of Controlling the Travel Each Direction. Our GT Version (Shown Here) Utilizes a Double Poly Bushing Monotube Shock Controlled Decel Link. This is a Great Method, with the Shock Valving Dampening Movement Both Ways. Our GT Version Also Utilizes a Canister with Tunable Rate Springs Inside on the Accel Side. This is a Proven Winner & Champion in MANY Racing Series. SCCA & Trans Am Rules Dont Allow an Extra Shock. So, our Older, Legal TA Version Utilizes Poly Bushings on Both Accel & Decel Links. This Works OK. The Two, Hard, Red (93 Duro) Poly Bushings on the Decel Link Live for Years. On the Other Hand, the 60 to 80 Durometer Poly Bushings on the Accel Link Would Work Harden Over Time, Split & Pop Out. Not Good. Running Three Poly Bushings on the Accel Link Helped, but We Still Had to Change Them Often. Back in the Day IMSA Allowed us to Run the Shock Controlled Top Link. But SVRA Does Not Want to See Disparity & We Agree. Vintage Racing is for Fun, Thrills & Bragging Rights. But Careers are Not Going to be Made or Lost Here. So, for SVRA or HSR Vintage Racing We Must Run Springs or Poly Bushings on the Links. Shown at Right is Our New, Vintage Racing, Non-Shock, Multi-Poly Bushing & Spring Controlled, GTV Decoupled 3-Link (Offset). These Work Great! Proven Winner! Not as Good as the Shock Version, but Very Good. Now We Use Three, Hard Red (93 Duro) Poly Bushings on the Decel Link.We Switched to Our GT Canister with Tunable Rate Springs Inside, for the Accel Link. This is the Same One We Raced for Years in the GT Version Shown Top Right. Now, We Dont Have Breakage & the Lap Times are Pretty Close to the GT Shock Version. We Dont Want to Blow Smoke Up Your Ass. The Shock Version Does Smooth Out the Rear Axle Movement from Gear Shifts & Its Quicker. So, It is Better. We Just Cant Run the Shock in Vintage Racing.656'
