Flexibility in a chassis makes the car less responsive to driver input & tuning changesand has less grip. Most production cars are limp noodles & flex way too much.Adding a roll bar/cage, subframe connectors, or frame bracing, all stiffen the chassis, making the car turn in quicker, respond better in chicanes & have more all around grip. The key is to not add more weight than necessary. This is why we have a roll bar in our AutoX-Pro & RSX packages & light cages that tie to the front clip for AutoX-Star, Hero & Ninja packages. Ron Sutton designed them knowing exactly where the loads are and are not. There are no wasted bars & no extra weight. You can upgrade any RSRT roll bar or cage to 4130 Chromoly. This material is 1/3 stronger, which allows us to run thinner wall tubing to save 1/3 the weight. This is weight that is permanent & up high, so long run, a very good investment. 258'
