8 How are Suspension Packages Different? We have clients that typically take their car one of two directions: 1. They either want to cut off the front and/or rear suspension & start over. Maybe even gut the car & build a tube chassis inside the body shell. This is our Track-Warrior line. 2. Others want to modify their existing production car frame and/or suspension to perform better. Our AutoX-Star, AutoX-Warrior & Track-Star lines are for this. What do you mean by “Mean”? “Mean” is Ron’s word for grip & performance. The meaner we make the car, the better handling it has, the faster it is. More GRIP, more cornering speed, quicker stopping, quicker acceleration, etc. are all “Meaner.” Grip creates more NVH … noise, vibration & harshness. With full on race cars, the grip is incredible, but the NVH is higher as well. Take that into account when deciding what you want. Understanding Package Levels:  Depending on what car you have, we offer 8-12 levels of packages  Level 1 & 2 are simpler, lower cost, tamer packages o Very little modification / Mostly bolt on  Level 3 & 4 are more involved, meaner packages o A few more modifications, but only a few / Mostly bolt on o 20% of the items require welding, metal notching or minor fabrication  Level 5 & 6 are meaner handling packages with NO MODS o Bolt on Clip or Full Chassis, so NO modifications in the front o Rear suspensions have a “little” mod & welding … very little  Level 7 & 8 are the meanest handling packages o Bolt on front frame clip, so NO modifications in the front o 3-Link rear frame clips weld in & require new floor & trunk sheet metal o This level eliminates the rear seat & requires a roll cage  Track-Warrior TT, TA2, TA & GT are tube chassis & cage packages o TT (Track-Toy) is the base model tube chassis for low cost track day fun o TA2 is our best performing bang for the buck tube chassis package o TA is the highest grip suspension without significant engine set back o GT is the highest grip suspension period / Requires the engine set back 6”-10” Understanding what the Names Mean: Extreme Level Autocross & Track Dominating Performance Top Level Autocross Performance & Good Track Performance Top Level Autocross Performance OK for Occasional Track Days Good Autocross Performance Not Recommend for Track Key Information
