221 Rear Frame Rails & Cross Member Photos of Client Building Rear Frame & Suspension with RSRT Frame Rails This Photo shows the welded rails mocked up on the car owner’s home garage fixture. You can see how the Watts Cross Member welds flush with the outer frame rails. By going through the frame rail, we’ve doubled the weld surface, making this stronger. The sway bar tube sticks out a short bit, so the weld doesn’t distort the inner bushing surface. The front of these two laser cut slots in the rails are the rear axle centerline. This slot makes it easy to measure & square the rear end. Here you see the Watts & Sway Bar tubes were originally ran long. This was before cutting & welding. Here you see the Watts & Sway Bar tubes were originally ran long. This was before cutting & welding. This is a good rear view of the housing & Watts link frame work in place. The stepped tube on the lower passenger side is part of the GT Watts Package. It bolts to the back of the Passenger side lower shock mount. Cleaner. Plenty strong. Shown here is where the car owner/builder put in his rear Cross Member & body mounts. This is for a Chevelle. Another good rear view of the housing & Watts link frame work in place. The small vertical tube welded in the Watts Cross Member is for a extension rod to run through for Quik Watts Tuning from the trunk. Frame Rails
