This does not add to the grip. But that’s not what this tip is focused on. The Top Links pull under acceleration. And since they are typically angled up toward the rear end mounts … the top links are also lifting. This IS adding grip. As the Top Link pulls … it is lifting on the chassis “to a degree.” This is what loads the rear tires. My main point here, that is Lower Links push under acceleration, so it’s OK that they’re slotted. Top Links pull & lift ... so it is NOT OK for top link brackets to be slotted.
